Unlike the previous works, this album is mainly
dedicated to traditional music of Ancient Kuzhebar. The colorize of other
ethnic traditions is used here only like the decoration. On this CD is
performed not only folk (¹2, 6) and classical (¹5, 11) music
of Ancient Kuzhebar aborigines, but also the unique style of singing used
by kuzhebarian cats (¹3) and The National Hymn of Ancient Kuzhebar
(¹10). By recording is used the special kind of kuzhebarian music
instruments, called junkphones.

This CD is dedicated to one of the most amazing
musical instruments: jew's harp.
You can meet this instrument in ethnic cultures all around the world.
Nadishana demostrates the innovative virtuoso style and unfolds the hidden
possibilities of this little piece of metal. The CD include mostly solo
performances recorded live and in studio. Jew's harps from different traditions
are featured on this recording: from Altai, China, Vietnam, Netherlands,
Laos and India. Nadishana demonstrates also brilliant playing on self-invented
sets of Vietnamese and Altaian jew's
harps. As an addition there's the track on the related instrument: Ghost
Catcher. This is extremely rare
mouth bow from Kuzhebar (South Siberia). It has 2 strings and a fingerboard,
so it's possible to play melodies on this fingerboard, using your mouth
to modulate the sound!

The aim of this work is to find a common
denominator for music sorcery in different traditions of the world. This
CD is an experimental fusion of music folklore from Asia, Africa, Europe,
Russia, Ancient Kuzhebar, experimental jazz and contemporary sampler surgery.
The recording method for this album was overdubbing.
