this time Kuzhebar Design shared the stand with a talented jewelry artist Eliza Gapenne and her art studio ElizArt and presented our tribal jewelries (KUAAMU) as a result of our collaborative project ???Kuzhebar Synergies???.

в этот раз к студии  Кужебар Дизайн присоединилась студия ElizArt  из Франции, вместе мы представили первую коллекцию нашего совместного проекта ?Kuzhebar Synergies? (Синергии Кужебара) ? этнические украшения, а именно КУААМУ-амулеты.

Ghost Catcher (stringed) is a traditional instrument of Kuzhebar people (South Siberia). It is a kind of mouth bow, but unlike other mouth bows it has little fingerboard and 2 strings, so it is possible to play melodies on it strumming the strings by right hand, and pressing the strings to the fingerboard by left hand. It is also possible to play on it with a stick, this technique reminds the berimbao playing. The instrument should be placed in front of the mouth and modulated like a jaw harp. We sell improved version of the ghost catcher which we modified and developed ourselves.

The Futujara is our top model which was made in collaboration withMax Brumberg.It has unique possibility to connect 4 different tubes in 4 keys: C,D, A and G, and if you disconnect all playing tubes you get overtone flute in A. But futujara is not only multi-key set of fujara, it also gives you amazing possibility to play in totally different way! The hose attached to futujara makes it really maneuverable and you can use technique which is used in playing on kalyuka, russian overtone flute (see the video for details).

По преданию, у него четыре лика, направленные по разные стороны света. Каждый лик овевается особым ветром, на котором развеваются ?к`абу? - отростки на ликах Ягдына, необъяснимого эзотерического назначения. Сам Ягдын Старой обычно пребывает в пространстве схожим с водной средой, имеющей зеленовато-бирюзовый оттенок. Hi everybody who are interested in Kuzhebarian culture!

We're happy to present you the new T-Shirts with kuzhebarian shamanic motif. On these T-Shirts you can see the arch-father and creator of Ancient Kuzhebar  Yagdyn Staroy. According to ancient kuzhebarian tales he has four faces looking to the four winds. Each face is blown by the special wind, his "caboo" are fluttering in these winds. "Caboo" are special unaccountable outgrowths on Yagdyns' faces. Yagdyn being exists in a turquoise-blue quasiwater ambience. His usual attribute is a big crystal-clear fancifully formed seashell, he lets it sound with the help of his caboo.

Древняя горная деревушка Boltana, живописно расположившаяся в Пиренейских горах  радушно принимала в эти дни всех прибывших из разных стран и мест мастеров по изготовлению музыкальных инструментов, музыкантов и гостей. Все они приехали сюда из-за   Пиренострума, фестиваля музыкальных инструментов.

Здесь все знают друг друга, а древние каменные дома построенные под самыми немыслимами углами называются ?casa? (=каза). К ним относятся очень почтительно, о чем говорит и тот факт, что у каждого дома есть свое имя. Мы же разместились со своим выставочным стэндом в красивой казе Коронел.    

Программа была плотная каждый день. Большое количество посетителей приехало чтобы посмотреть на разные музыкальные инструменты и поиграть на них. И тут было где разгуляться: разные волынки со всех краев Испании, колесные лиры, дульсайны и многое многое другое. Старая каза Коронел тоже была полна народа который пришел посмотреть на наши инструменты: хомусы, коу ксианги, футуристические фуяры и футуяры

The old small charming village Boltana placed high in Pyrenees gave kind welcome for music instruments builders, musicians and guests from different countries. They all came because of Pirenostrum, the festival of music instruments. Here everybody knows each other and the old stoned houses called ???casa??? always have their own names. For our exhibition stand we got place in the beautiful casa Coronel. Each day was full of program and a lot of visitors came to see and to try bagpipes from differents parts of Spain, hurdy gurdy, flutes, drums etc. etc. etc??? The old casa Coronel was full with people too. They were interested in our instruments: jews harps, futuristic fujaras, futujaras and bagpipes as also nice small flutes from Mallorca called Xirimjeta made by our friend Junajo: a talented painter, ceramist, biologist and bagpipe builder in one! With him we were happy to travel and have the stand together. during smal breaks Julia was decorating the bagpipe made by Junajo and Nadishana was playing Futuristic Fujara, so no time was lost there:)! During the festival there were two good surprises, which were very special for us. The first was a meeting with an innovator in bagpipe building ??? Francisco Calvo Regueiro, very nice person. His gaitas can be easily played for about half an hour without hard blowing into the bag!!! Sounds like a dream for a bagpipe player, wright?! And Francisco was very interested in futurustuc fujara. Of course in this situation the exchange of instruments was the best solution for both: Nadishana and Francisco:) The second thing was a meeting with a boy from the village who had seen the concert of Vladiswar Nadishana at the Conspiremus-festival two years ago and was infected by the wish to learn to play jews harp. We remembered him well, because he came after the concert to the stage to see the jews harp from a close distance, and Nadishana was showing him how it works. Now he came especially to get his first jews harp from Nadishana and was very happy after he hold his own one in the hand. We hope to see him next time playing!

Футуяра ? это экспериментальный инструмент, который был создан нами в сотрудничестве с Максом Брумбергом.

Он имеет уникальную конструкцию: возможность использовать четыре сменных игровых трубки в тональностях До, Ре, Ля и Соль. Если вы отсоедините игровые трубки, то в результате получится обертоновая флейта в тональности Ля.

Однако Футуяра это не только мультитональная фуяра, фактически это гибрид двух инструментов: русской калюки и словацкой обертоновой флейты фуяры. На футуяре возможно сочетать между собой техники игры обоих этих инструментов. (См. видео)

Особенности:

1. Пять инструментов в одном: четыре фуяры (До, Ре, Ля и Соль) и  обертоновая флейта в Ля. 2. Чрезвычайно легкий и маневренный инструмент (в сравнении с традиционной фуярой). Гибкий шланг дает возможность использовать технику игры, применяемую на калюке. 3. Очень точная настройка в западной темперированной шкале. 4. Разборная! (Нет проблем при транспортировке. 5. Профессиональное качество звука. Инструмент применим на сцене, в студии и для обучения. 6. Игровые отверстия расположены близко друг к другу, что позволяет применять другую (в отличие от традиционной с большим пальцем) систему аппликатуры и использовать при игре на футуяре техники характерные для бансури и кавала. 7. Недавно моя музыка была использована при постановке в Большом Театре.Хореограф Андрей Меланьин выбрал "Cat's love song" - песню которую мы сделали вместе с моим котом Басиком для своей миниатюры "Вариации на тему Фавна".

Басик был тоже приглашен на премьеру, но к сожалению уже давно находится в другом измерении, поэтому не смог посетить этот знаменательный эвент.
